The boys loved it - when we got to the stand of pines, I let them go for it and we wandered around in different directions trying to be the first to find it, until I heard a distant "FOUND IT".
We had originally planned to camp at it or in it, but it was pretty dark and dingy in there (would be welcome shelter if it was bucketing down rain or snow), so we just headed directly down to near Wurragarra creek to camp.
It's a good interesting o/nighter for kids - up Maggs 17, find a planewreck, find a hut , climb a mountain, and whatever other mischief they can get up to. .
