Thanks awildland, some fantastic gorge country up there. I've visited Oxley Wild Rivers NP but only did the walk down to Salisbury Waters, will have to return one day.

Another from NSW; might be a bit of a theme here:

Clues - Two words. The second word of the name of this karst feature is exactly what it looks like. And the first word can have a biblical context.

"Joseph's Hole"?

I'm just guessing based on clues here. :/

The hole part is correct but not Joseph's. The first word is an abstract noun rather than a name.
Location is regionally close to Victoria.

I thought Victoria was Mexico.

I thought Victoria was Mexico.

I thought so too, but as icefest attests, the interpretation may be age-dependent. Anyway, Tasmania doesn't qualify if your border is a river. Plus, they've got their own Where-is-it game.

MickyB, this is quite a fair way ENE from the mouth of the Powlett River.

As the crow (or albatross) flies, Lakes Entrance is about half way there from Cape Liptrap. But this is a much more entrancing place to camp.
