Lees Paddocks as a Destination

Postby corvus » Mon 10 Mar, 2008 7:35 pm

Some of the BWTF met up at Lees Paddocks 8/9/10 Mar for our 1st anniversary and had a really good time and when discussed the possibilities presented we believe that this area is perfect as a starting point for a few circuit walks including good accsess to the Overland Track. This is also a good area to introduce newbis to BWing as it it relativly flat with access to water at many springs /creeks /streams even now in a dry summer. We also were reminded how perfect a place this is even though it it private property surrounded by a reserve with Huts open to any of us who want to use them provided the owners or friends(G'day Gorby) are not in residence.
