Shame that such a large area has to be effectively shut down for so long (they've timed it the best they can, admittedly) but it is very necessary work and needs to be done. I have nothing against the maintenance of a relatively small, contained wild herd along the central northeast and east for sport hunting purposes, but their range and numbers are definitely on the increase. And they definitely need to be kept out of the TWWHA to the best of our abilities.
