Arthur River

Postby dplanet » Thu 08 Nov, 2007 9:38 pm

I would like to do an extended walk in the Arthur River area after two to three day paddle. I have a day trip report from TasTrekker. Is there any report on an extended walk? I am interested in the walk information and the topo map reference. Many thanks.

A few day walks are listed in Tyrone T. Thomas's 100 Walks in Tasmania.

I was on a driving tour. Stopped at P&WS, Arthur River base to arrange the night before camping fee via self registration Open Office.

It certainly is a beautiful spot. we stopped there when we were doing our trip around Tassie last year. That day we drove the Western Explorer, beautiful road. The day was really windy and the ocean was up.
