Projection Bluff to Lady Lake.

Postby rhyso » Fri 22 May, 2009 7:32 pm

hi there all, hope the walking is treating you well ;-)
just after any information or clues to a walk i was thinking of doing. i've read about it in the log books in ironstone and lady lake huts, of people who have come across from projection bluff, (just off the Lake hwy at the great lake.)
ive been doing a bit of googling (maps and earth and searching) but was wondering if anyone knew the familiars of the tracks used.
from what i can gather it looks as if you can just punch straight accross the top of the tiers? following their contour?
i think TASMAPS deloraine, Lake Makenzie, Bothwell should be the ones?
any tips?
thanks all, take care

G'day Rhys.
I have been up to Projection Bluff, did a bit of a loop up there, a day walk from the highway. But no further.
I've also been to Lady Lake, as a day walk.
If there is no defined track to Lady Lake from up there, you won't get a public response to this topic due to the forum rules about discussion of off-track areas.
People with answers may contact you via PM however.
Good luck, sorry I cannot help.
