Lake Timk

Has anyone been to Lake Timk below Mt. Anne? Am interested in potential as campsite, time to get there, difficulty etc. Cheers.

Hi Buddy

Haven't been to Timk, but talked a lot about it with a friend who did it a while ago. I suspect that it is a very long day or more and I would expect that the track gets pretty vague after the NE Ridge turn off - lack of traffic! I gather that camping is ok near the lake and the view of Anne would be a stunner first thing in the morning in good weather.

I've been told that no creek flows out of the lake - the water flows out through a sink hole and this is sometimes visible from the logs that are jammed in it. Looks as if there is a small beach at the eastern end.
