Best late summer walks

Postby walkinTas » Sun 01 Feb, 2009 11:04 pm

Waterfalls aren't at there best right now, but there is still quite a few weekends to fill in between now and the Autumn Fagus. So what are the best one and two day walks for taking photos in late summer in Tassie?

Out along the south coast track to South Cape Rivulet is pretty nice/short 2 days.

Thanks ollster, I might give it a go in March. Looks like I might not be the only one stuck for ideas at this time of the year. Just need to find some places with reasonable water and not too hot. I was thinking of maybe Freycinet but I don't think the water supply is very good in the winter, let alone the summer. It is just hard to work out what area looks its best in late Summer! I think I will head up onto Mother Cummings Peak this weekend.

There was lots of water on the various falls at Cradle last week- everything else was looking dry though.
