When was the last time any of you used the old track to pine valley hut? It started before the bowling green coming from Bert Nichols.

In the 90's. I imagine it's anything but a shortcut now?

'89 (my first OT trip). It was a good route, but I'd guess it's invisible now. I don't know how much time it really saved for people walking in from the North, but it was enough to be worthwhile at the time.
