Yep this review nailed it. The world heritage area is only catering for a specific clientele. Obviously we'd get more visitors if we incorporated their ideas. Tongue in cheek.

If my mind boggled any more it would explode. Did they just see a photo and decide to go there without any research into what the place was like?

Hilarious on the expectation of reviewer. Yet again, I suspect it was posted as a joke. Can't be serious, right? LOL

Yep this guy knows his stuff i wish i had this review before i went there i could have saved myself a few trips. Maybe parks Tas could look at a full time gig for him how good would the place be if you didn't have to put up with all that pesky wildlife. How good would it be if you didn't even have to get out of a car to get to the summit winner :) . Maybe parks Tas could look at employing people that can talk proper as well and i know its a bit out there but how about a bubble dome for the whole park imagine the potential. In all seriousness the review gave me a giggle.

Also coming from the U.S. and knowing half the people don't even know where Tasmania is, this is clearly written in jest as I can't imagine anyone would just pick here randomly and fly down to the bottom of the world. I suppose it fits the stereotype of what people abroad expect of us though

In reading it wouldn't surprise me. Not anymore a thing particular to any nationality but to the value of the product almost everyone seems giddy to promote. I've had groups to whom it's not the place at all, it's the craic, the ticklist just as likely a list including casinos as cute animals. And if they didn't know what country they were in would be fine as well. It's the extraction of money for us as a state so who cares? If they don't want get out of cars all the better! might be a saving grace. Who cares if a camp site then costs a leg and needs booking two years in advance, we're saving country right. It's a theme park mentality get with it.

Of course, and sadly, there is no separation seen as needed or acknowledged between this herd approach for tourism outside wilderness for those fools green and brown who would seek to drive this further into parks let alone the gannets they facilitate. Quality gives way to quantity (of numbers or $), there is no middle ground. If there was Yellowstone wouldn't be a ready example to the aspiring world.

Anyone who took this as a serious review needs to trade in some of their hiking gear for a sense of humour.
