Transport to cradle mountain 12th September

Postby emilycct0 » Fri 07 Aug, 2015 7:25 pm

hi everyone,

We're doing the overland track in september and are running out of options in terms of transport to cradle mt. The idea is to park our car at one end of the track and walk back to it. But the problem is getting to the beginning. Ideally we would like to start on the Sat 12th Sept due to our flights.

Can anyone advice of our options and would anyone like to join us to svar on costs?

Cheers
Emily

Hi Emily,

Check out TassieLink (timetables) on their site. Services are restricted during cold times, so you may need a day or 2 of flexibility if TassieLink is best option. We are headed in to do it next Monday, and TassieLink suits us coming into Cradle and out of Lake St Clair, to Hob. Not sure of other options. OLT ticket to cover that trip is $104.

Hope you can work it out :). Pat
