Quick update from me - in the end I splurged and went for a Western Mountaineering Versalite, especially given the fact that I'm keen to do extended walks in NZ and possibly other colder places OS. In terms of warmth rating vs weight, this bag looks to deliver what I want. It's on its way from the US now so can't yet comment on actual use.
