Day Pack for SLR

Postby Greenie » Sat 24 Sep, 2011 9:32 pm

I am after a day pack that can handle a SLR with a extra lens, can take a hydration bladder and has a rain cover. I came across the Lowepro Photo Sport 200 AW http://www.lowepro.com/photosport.

Has anyone used one of these or is there any other similar products around?

Thanks

Havent seen the photosport before - looks pretty good from the video.

I have been using the Rover AW for a couple of years and think its great. Easily takes my DSLR and a couple lenses and in contrast to the photosport has the tripod holder. Doesnt take a bladder but to be honest with thousands of dollars of water sensitive gear underneath it i wouldnt use it. Top compartment big enough for some clothes and a bit of food. The waist belt is also very sturdy just like a bigger rucksack so no prob with heavy loads.

The rover is prob more of a multifunction camera bag- maybe the photosport more of a day bag with camera compartment.

Either way I have owned countless Lowepro camera bags and backpacks and they are all very high quality.
