Sony A55v

Postby Greenie » Tue 06 Sep, 2011 10:59 am

I was wondering if anyone has had experience with the Sony A55?
I am yet to touch one in the flesh yet.

I don't have the A55, but the A580. Were you after specific info or general Sony info

Manly reliability. Since it is a new type of technology in digital cameras.

I certainly haven't heard anything negative about the reliability of that camera and the SLT system was first launched by Sony in the a33, which has now been upgraded thru the a35.

Also the A77 24Mp model was launched last week & will be the model they seem to have put a lot of faith in the system as going forward all their models will become SLT. A replacement of the a900 pro model is scheduled for next year in SLT as well
