This is a substantial upgrade to the Fujifilm X-T1 which has been on the market since around mid 2014. Fits with the ever growing lens range of the Fuji X System.

It's streets in front of the XT-1.
A joy to use.

Yes.

It is an excellent upgrade. I have always been happy with my X-T1 and the X-T2 improvements are practical and useful. For instance, the focus spot adjustment system on the X-T1 is usable but the new system with a specific joystick on the X-T2 is much better. There are also way more selectable focus points and more of them are phase detection. The ISO and shutter speed dials have been improved as well. The rear screen also swings out both horizontally or vertically which is handy when shooting low to the ground etc. The files are really good, with some fine in-camera adjustments, I can see myself using the camera jpegs more frequently than before.

File size is what catches some unaware.
RAW files are just over 49mb.
Yes jpegs are good, especially for the likes of architecture and portraiture shots.
But I still like to use the RAW files for landscapes as the dynamic range is brilliant and it can help me alleviate some of my mistakes

Compressed RAWs are a good option, about half the size and no significant difference visible.

Yep, I will still be shooting RAW + Jpeg as well.

Thanks for the tip, I haven't tried the compressed RAW.
