I have an ACT ResQLink which I purchased in Australia and have registered with AMSA in Australia. I am travelling to New Zealand. Can I use it there if necessary? I presume that AMSA will pick up the signal if activated and then have to speak with their New Zealand counterparts. Is this correct?

But update the amsa website with your trip intentions.
Men wanted for hazardous journey. Low wages, bitter cold, long hours of complete darkness. Safe return doubtful.
