Hi all. I just discovered an Aussie product sold at a local Asian supermarket. Jerkeyhouse sell jerkies packaged in 100g lots. I bought Chilli Pork and Honey Beef with expiry dates of Nov 2019.
They have 1670kj per 100g ( similar to one serve Back Country meals)
There's no specific storage instructions.
The taste and quality was great.
For me it's a great lunch option to supplement Safcol salmon pouches ( same weight but Safcol has half the calories )
It looks like you can order it online. I'm not sure where else you can purchase it.

29 grams of sugar and 1.3 grams of salt per 100 grams. There is more sugar than protein, it's the equivalent of a 330ml can of coca cola. Where do they hide all that sugar?

The chilli pork is very tasty. They have a couple of outlets in Melbourne CBD.

Have just found a local supplier in Moorabool St Geelong.

In my gut.

Yes true but walking is about more calories. I wouldn't use these to lose weight.
I would use this to climb the next hill after lunch.
I agree with your point. My only negative is that it's a bit salty therefore makes you more thirsty.
But it's really tasty.
