G'day
Thinking to mix up my food options and get into some fried goodies like pancakes, fried rice, risoni, sweet potato chips, the good old stirfry.
Wondering what is a good frypan model you've used? A little bulky but could use a mini kettle, giant stainless mug and the frypan...
Up to 20cm and a 5cm side wall perhaps

The lid of my Trangia kit makes an adequate frying pan. Mine is Teflon-coated as well.
A bit heavy for longer hikes.

Not that i fry very often...
Asian shop special with the heavy handle taken off...thick base.
Not too big, not too small. Cooks a brekky omelette a treat.
You could grind down the sides a bit and loose some the weight you just gained with the base...I didn't bother.
Once it's in the pack, its out of sight out of mind.

Don't hike with one myself but I remember a discussion about Frypans a while back and thought these looked good

I have a small 500 ml pot from Aldi (Adventuridge Brand) which has a partially curved base. This is pretty good for frying eggs, potato fish cakes, fritattas and pancakes, if you don't mind the weight.
Basically find a small wide pot with a curved base and you have a pot that you can fry things in.

Noticed some 1egg sized frying pans in our local supermarkets...lose the handles if your worried about weight.

I didn't get into frying on buswalks yet, other than nachos in my half size hike pot...
Car camping/living I had a nice anodised 20cm frypan from Spotlight. Left it at a mates then ended up with a 24cm replacement. A bit more funtional but have to be careful to not stir things off and over the edge.
Still looking for the elusive small titanium wok.

I spotted a 10cm frying pan in Big W yesterday for$9.90, thin-ish alloy, non stick, the handle is probably the heaviest part. Without the handle it would be light enough but maybe too small to be practical.
