* Almost pure protien
* Light weight
* Helps eradicate a pest
* No waste to carry out (bury the bones)

They occasionally migrate from my back yard to my freezer (one in there right now). I'm keen to hear of any good new recipes. I've not tried smoking them myself, but I believe smokers are easy to build.

You would need three Examiner pages and a sea sponge as filter if you want to smoke one of these

Drats you beat me to it.

I'd recommend de-furring them first, too. Might not light up as easy but the smell of burnt hare, um, I mean, hair, will probably pass thru the sea sponge filter pretty easy and be really really bad for your lungs. At least the fleas will get filtered.

OK if that's not your flavour, then try something serious...

Can you believe it - a forum on the subject -

Geez, I dunno, some people would make a forum on any old thing, eh? :roll:

http://www.kickassbbq.com/ Are these guys serious? "When we ain't smoking hogs, we're riding 'em"

And something more serious (some people would study anything...)
Longtime diet of smoked, grilled meat puts older women at increased risk of breast cancer

That will do for now...
