So I am pondering overnight porridge where you soat your oats in liquid (reconstituted dried milk in my case) overnight so you don't have to cook them as such.
At home I warm it in the microwave. I was thinking that in camp I would keep it in a ziploc bag, immerse the bag in hot water for a bit, put a cosy on the lot, eat when warmed through.
But is the water the bag's been in safe? Bring it to the boil again and make tea?
At first look "as long as boiled, OK" but then I think about plastics. Would there be enough evil in the bag to make difference?
