Hi
Thanks heaps
I did 2-3 turns & no gas came though (instructions said 1-1.5) So thought it was faulty pin height (see below)
But with 4 turns it worked!!! So that's normal??? And don't worry about it?
I did read online that 1 user had 2 faulty stoves & got this reply from Soto:
“We have been distributing WindMaster in the world market over the past 4 years, but I personally have receive the gas flow issue twice in the past. Both case, we send the replacement stove and the issue was resolved. At our factory in Japan, WindMaster is assembled by our skilled workers by hands. Each stove is examined twice before it goes out our door. However, past two cases are related to the height of the pin located at the base of the stove. If the pin is too short, it will not push the gas valve located inside the canister. On the other hand, the valve on the canister is set too low, which does happen, then the pin will not be able to open the valve when the stove is screwed onto the canister.”
