TIP: The online Bushwalk Inventory System can help bushwalkers with a variety of bushwalk planning tasks, including: Manage which items they take bushwalking so that they do not forget anything they might need, plan meals for their walks, and automatically compile food/fuel shopping lists (lists of consumables) required to make and cook the meals for each walk. It is particularly useful for planning for groups who share food or other items, but is also useful for individual walkers.

Terra Rosa Stargazer 1p tent, yes or no?

Postby Suz » Mon 16 Dec, 2019 3:34 pm

I'm interested in getting a Terra Rosa Stargazer tent for Summer trips. Here it is if you haven't seen it before: https://terrarosagear.com/collections/s ... net-tent-1

Just wondering if anyone has any comments about them as an owner? Or can see any reason I should have reservations about getting one?

I have a Tier Gear tarp that should comfortably cover it from rain.

Probably not a tent for Victorian conditions Suz but it will be made really well.
I have no affiliations with Terrarosa but this is Evans workmanship on show.

Neilmny, I was thinking it might be good for low lying land trips (and car camping). Hoping to get some use out of my fatbike and packraft this summer, in addition to some hiking. Oh well, hopefully it works for those purposes as too late now!

PeterW, yeah I have a quilt from him already.

Thanks Lamont, usually I am huge procrastinator lol
