Is one of these two down jackets warmer?

TIP: The online Bushwalk Inventory System can help bushwalkers with a variety of bushwalk planning tasks, including: Manage which items they take bushwalking so that they do not forget anything they might need, plan meals for their walks, and automatically compile food/fuel shopping lists (lists of consumables) required to make and cook the meals for each walk. It is particularly useful for planning for groups who share food or other items, but is also useful for individual walkers.

If the women's 10 isn't available, why is it still there on their site?
I've emailed them about this - not because I'm going to buy it, but because they need to be goosed into keeping their *&%$#! online stores up to date.

I mentioned elsewhare about their dubious (pricing) practises plus sold me an item which proved to be out of stock but is STILL listed NOW on their website. So called sales which end and then the club price is LOWER.
NBNW Ring the DFO (is that a clearance shop) place? There's one at Tullamarine and in Melb city isn't there?
Where was it Joy if you are still around?
They sold 2 jackets to Joy well under the website price-(good pickup Joy) perhaps they have what you want/but don't need/but ....
If that jacket had 800cuin down it would be the buy of the year!
Seriously looked at it.

Yep, it's a crock of faeces.
My adult daughter hates it.
She now saves- shops male wherever possible and always tells me how much she saves!

I thought it was 20D but I can't see anything to tell me that now
EDIT
12dx40d fabric according to the details section
Not really abrasion resistant but for normal wear Pertex Quantum is quite strong enough

Yep. Best for for sitting around drinking warm milk before bed
Off Nunatak
1 ounce /m2 = 20D
1.7 ounce = 40D-
0.5 ounce = 10D - EE and Nunatak Jackets most common fabric choice I think-.
0.4 I think is 7D - EE jackets sell apparently quite well in 7D-must be the Apex.

Thanks for that Heremeahappy1.

The calculator link you posted indicates that the 650 fill power jacket which has 154g of down is warmer than the 800 fill power jacket which has 96g of down.

The calculator says that the 800 fill power jacket would need an extra 28g of down to be as warm as the other jacket.

Of course the higher fill power jacket is a bit lighter and has water resistant down and more features (pull cords at bottom and hood as well as strategically place sped primaloft gold so more functional in mountain conditions).

Thanks for everyone who provided advice.

I ended up with the 650 fill power Macpac jacket for around $96 after all the sale discounts.

It doesn’t have the water resistant down of the more expensive jacket but I always carry a raincoat if needed.
