Hi, I've had trouble over the years with tight backpack waist straps pinching a nerve on the front of my left hip bone. I'm skinny and have no hips for the pack to rest on so I find myself having to make it super tight to save Mt shoulders and upper back. When it pinches it is quite bad oain at the site. My physio has recommended making some padding for this side. I was thinking something like a doughnut shape of foam.
Has anyone got any experience with this? What type of material did you use and how did you keep it in place?
