I think it was a year or so ago now that The National Film Board of Canada released its archives free of charge on the net. http://www.nfb.ca

Have search around there is some great films--many about the wildlife, and outdoor heritage.

The legendary paddler Bill Masons' work is on there http://www.nfb.ca/explore-by/director/Bill-Mason/ including Song of the Paddle http://www.nfb.ca/film/song_of_the_paddle/ and some of his other excellent efforts.

And I didnt think that I would ever sit for a full hour and watch an old fella put together a birch bark canoe. Just amazing.
