Well I guess if you do a 8km return, 600m climb in 90 minutes the view might be pretty rubbish. I like the view from Arthur, not just endless mountains, valleys and lakes. It has roads, towns, farms, the sea, flinders island as well as other mountains and valleys etc.

Southern Tassie is great for masochists and bureaucrats, but the north is pretty good for bushwalkers. :D

Im not sure it was 8km. And we took it very slowly. As I said it was a nice mtn, just not great.
Im certainly no masochists and definately not a bureaucrats. :roll:

(you should use red iluvswt i keep tinking theres rivers running off these peaks :) Devonport would have to be better positioned than either? just dont tell the locals what yer into :wink: )

Now I get it. Peak baggers guide, Southern Motorist edition. I am with Sthughes you missed many of the scenic parts.

Nice to see that a movie about the Tiger hunt is been filmed in Hobart, it will match Southern "REALism" to the plot line :wink:
