Weekend Party

Postby Son of a Beach » Mon 16 Nov, 2009 8:48 am

My wife and I went to a theme party on Saturday night, dressed as punks. I had a safety pins chain from ear to nose, and yes, that's my real hair (which I'm still wearing that way at work today - shame to waste all that effort on just one night).

Don't take this as a knock Nik - but you certainly have the head for it! Looks great!

I once turned up at a medieval-themed party dressed as monk with a proper tonsure (think a monk's bowl cut with the top shaved off). Very nice being able to mod your own hair for the theme!

I keep getting people saying it suits me, and I'm not sure if that supposed to be a compliment or not. :? :-)

It's a good thing I don't talk to clients face to face at work.

Seems some of us are willing to go the extra mile for these fancy dress things ... here's me as Hellboy on Halloween:

I had to shave the rest of my head the next day as, without the black colour I looked like Larry from the Three Stooges

Nice one! My brother did a very good Dracula vampire once but I don't have any pictures unfortunately.

I received a Skype message "check out SOB". You're a fairly game sort of chap, but sorry it is not the nicest hair style.

It's certainly not a style I'd go for long term. I shaved the rest off when I got home anyhow.

It was then I realised just how sunburnt my head had got during yesterday's BBQ. I've now got no hair but I do have a racing stripe colour scheme.

Not a fund raiser... just being an exhibitionist, I guess. As I responded when somebody at the party said they thought it was very out of character for me... I'm good at hiding behind masks.

Here's a couple more shots I've just been sent...
